41aejfxpzxl_sl500_aa300_.jpgThe Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX1 is actually quite a remarkable camera. Whereas most camera models try to improve on the megapixels, Sony did nothing of that sort and instead concentrated on the lens. And the end result is a wonderful product that hit the headlines.

It offers an incredible 20x optical zoom, which is 28-560mm. Plus, there is also the option to add on the 1.7x teleconverter – this lets you push your telephoto end to 952mm, making this quite an incredible camera. Many people believe that a model that comes with such a super zoom simply cannot be friendly to the shirt pocket. But this is another area where the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX1 scores over competition. The model remains surprisingly lightweight.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H10 has a look and feel of a SLR but is actually a super zoom camera. It is recommended for people who want a super zoom camera within a low budget. It has a good zoom range of up to 18x, however, due to its low price; it has a relatively narrow angle of view. Also, electronic viewfinder is absent.

The H10 will give you an average performance and if you come to expect an outstanding picture quality then you may not want to buy this camera. If you use the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H10 outdoors, particularly in bright sunlight then the pictures will be extremely sharp. Indoors, however, it’s a completely different story. Shots taken indoors have been reported by many users as dull and murky. This may lead you to wonder if this is the right choice in its price range.

A 12x zoom lens, 33-396 mm focal range, 2.7 inch screen, and of course its DSLR looks, all these features make The Fuji FinePix S1500 every photographer’s desire. The feature of Automatic Scene Recognition mode has the efficiency to recognize six types of scenes, and sets the appropriate focus, exposure, ISO, and white balance.

Elaborating further, its high-speed shooting of up to 15 frames at 7.5 fps (at 2 megapixels), an electronic viewfinder, Tracking Auto Focus Dual Image Stabilization, Panorama Shooting mode, and ISO up to ISO 1600 at full resolution are the highlights of this camera.

Pentax Optio X70 is best defined as a crossover camera between a Digital SLR and a point and shoot digital camera. Super zoom for a camera of this size is what makes it unique. It’s got a zoom of 24x optical zoom lens with a 26mm -624mm zoom range. It has intelligent zoom which allows magnification up to 150x, without compromising optical performance of zoom lens.

It has a 2.7 inch LCD screen with anti reflection coating which helps prevent glare from sunlight providing effective outdoor viewing. The Electronic View Finder has a resolution of around 200,000 dots with shooting information display feature. It has true hardware sensor with movement shake reduction.

It has smile detection which automatically releases the shutter if it detects a smile. Blink detection warns the photographer if the subject’s eyes are closed.
