The Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd is a super zoom digital camera that works well for experienced photographers. Overall, the camera looks and feels like a smaller version of the DSLR class of cameras, but it does not have the mirror assembly that would define it as DSLR. This feature works well with objects that do not move but can be slow to react to moving objects. Still, the overall quality of photos produced with the Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd is up to professional standards in most cases.
