The upgraded version of E-510 with 10Mp Digital SLR is, in fact, the first SLR user with a larger budget. The Olympus E-620 has been positioned by its manufacturers between their high end model of E-30 and the affordable E-520. As is evident by its positioning, this model is a combination of the E-520 related complaints being resolved and incorporation of some features of E-30. Consequently, the Olympus E-620 contains some very important functional and design characteristics which have been derived from the manufacturer’s E-30 model. The most vital of these is the E-30’s 12.3 megapixels live MOS sensor which also imparts anti-shake properties and a live view. The E-520 was a 10 megapixel camera.

Two other imported features that this model has inherited from its classy big brother are six creative art filters and 2.7 inch/230 k monitor.
