Nikon D60
Being a successor of the Nikon D60, it offers features of D60 like 10.2 megapixel sensor and 2.5 inch screen with resemblance in body and controls as well. It has a built-in autofocus and vibration reduction image stabilization technology, providing sharp and blur free photographs.
Its best feature is the active dust reduction system with airflow control which provides more picture clarity. The anti-dust system vibrates the low pass filter along with usage of airflow system to remove particles coming in the image path. It is provided with an eye sensor which automatically turns off the LCD screen if the view finder is being used. Adjustment of image size, quality and white balance for RAW images can be done within the camera after shooting. It has a stop motion recording mode which helps create a stop motion animation from a sequence of images. An inbuilt active D light automatically compensates the under exposed as well as over exposed areas in picture with high contrast.
It has a split second shutter response so missing shots due to time lag is highly reduced. Dynamic images can be captured in different shooting situation by a simple turn of the mode dial. It is one of the lightest digital SLR available. With its new ergonomically designed shape it can be held easily and comfortably.
Focusing of picture suffers in poor light. It has only 3 active focus points often resulting in focusing of wrong objects. It does not provide live preview of the picture. The picture can be viewed only after it is clicked.
Keeping in view the advantages it provides the Nikon60 is an incredible possession.
