Since most of the time your point and shoot is used for things like family outing and get together, it does come in handy. How many times have you taken a pic of your friends and the red eye monster shows up? How many times have you taken a picture of grandpa and the only thing in focus is the background. Well, the DIGI III will put a stop to that.The only thing I don’t like about this compact camera is the fact that it doesn’t have an optical viewfinder. We all know how the LCD can be a glare magnet and sometimes hard to see the subject. Even though you are given an ultra-large, 3-inch screen, sometimes bright light can make your target difficult to see. So I guess it might be considered a fair trade; after all, the 3-inch screen does allow you to find your subject faster.
